Save the Date! Ice Cream Social and Concert – June 4 at 7 PM
Join us for a time of worship and rejoicing Mariachi style! With Mariachi San Pablo, Zion Handbell Choir and Zion Choir will perform here at Zion. Ice Cream will be served after the concert.
Zion VBS 2024 – June 20-23rd
Celebrate the Savior! Is the theme this year for Vacation Bible School. To pre-register there is a form on Zion’s website at https://zionelpaso.org/vbs/, or you can get in touch with the church office, and they can send one over to you.
Zooming in the Word Bible Study
will take a short break thru the month of April and will resume in meeting on Tuesday, May 7th at 7pm on Zoom.

2024 Altar Care Volunteers
With the Advent of 2024, it is time to establish a slate for Altar Care Volunteers for 2024. The Volunteers will commit to serving for a month which ensures the altar is in keeping with the churches calendar and the Lord’s Supper Communion. Training will be provided. If you are interested in this ministry and learning more about it, please contact Mariann Porter at mariannp6200@gmail.com
Youth Confirmation Classes each Week on Wednesday
New students are welcome! Weekly confirmation classes will resume on April 3rd at 5:45pm for youth ages 11 and older. Youth learn the foundations of the Christian faith by studying and memorizing scripture and learning how to navigate the Bible. Study and memorization of key teachings of scripture, as laid out in Luther’s Small Catechism, provides a strong foundation for each youth’s life-long growth in faith and Christian life. Register online or call the church office for more info.
Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study – Gospel Expressions
The Sunday Adult Bible Study Class begins a new topic next Sunday: “The Bible’s Gospel Expressions.” The Old and New Testament scriptures provide a huge variety of expressions of the Gospel, words that we understand from everyday life that explain the good in Jesus’ death and resurrection for us. Our study will take us through the old and new testaments, history, prophecy, the gospels, wisdom literature and the epistles as we discover the lengths God has gone to explain the impact of the cross on our lives. Attend in person or, if you’re out of town, connect via Zoom at 9:15am every Sunday.
