POTLUCK honoring Lana Arnold – February 23rd

Join us after worship to wish Lana farewell next Sunday. You’re welcome to bring your favorite appetizer, side dish, main entrée, dessert or anything you love to cook. 

LWML Meeting – Tuesday, February 18th at 12:15 pm

Following the Potluck Luncheon, Peggy Djerf will present the Devotion, we will have our business meeting, exchange friendship cards, then play Bunco.

Donations of travel sized hygiene items needed!

The Youth will be assembling bags to give to the Opportunity Center in a few weeks and your donations can help. Items needed are toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, lotion, small nail clippers and full sized candy bars.

Youth Confirmation Class Sundays at 9:00 am

If you have not registered your child/children, grades 6th and up, please contact the church office for information and registration forms.

Adult/Teen Confirmation Class Tuesdays at 6:30 pm

 Pastor Kirk will begin a series for those interested in membership as well as those who would like to refresh their knowledge of the basics of our faith.

Zion’s LWML Mite Box Drive has begun!

 As we introduced January 26th, everyone is invited to join us in an LWML Mite Box Drive for the next 4 weeks! Please place your pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and/or bills (or even checks) in the Mite Box given to you, during the month of February.  Please bring your Mite Box to church on Sunday, February 23rd, Zion’s Mite Box Sunday, for us to collect. All of the Mites we collect will go towards funding LWML Mission Grants all over the world! If you did not receive a Mite Box, please feel free to pick one up from the display under the LWML Bulletin Board in the Auditorium. Thanks, in advance, for joining us in this Mite Box Drive!

FREE Guitar Lessons – Wednesdays at 5:00 pm

 Music classes are starting up again and you are invited to join! Miguel from Mariachi San Pablo will be teaching guitar and we are hoping to add inn other instruments as well. If you are musically talented and would like to share with or teach others, we invite you to join also!

Women’s Bible Study Tuesdays at 11:00 am

 A study on the book “Anxious for Nothing” will be presented by Megan and Lara. If you are interested in joining please call the church office.

2025 Offering Envelopes

We have several new boxes of numbered offering envelopes available. Please contact the church office if you would like a designated box to keep track of offerings.

Altar Flowers for 2025

There is a new calendar posted at the back of the sanctuary with many available dates. We order flowers from a local shop throughout the year. They do  a very nice job at a reasonable cost of $23 per arrangement. If you would like to provide flowers for a particular Sunday, just sign up for that date and place your flower donation in a marked envelope in the offering plate or online and be sure to take your flowers home.

Sunday morning Bible Study begins at 9:15 am

Pastor Kirk presents the book of Romans. Everyone is invited to attend and participate in this study. It will be ongoing through the month of January.
Attend in person or, if you’re out of town, connect via Zoom at 9:15am every Sunday.

Kitchen Renovation Project in Honor of the 100th Anniversary of Our Building

As decided at the voter’s meeting on Sunday, November 13th, the renovation of the kitchen off the auditorium upstairs will begin! Estimated $30,000 to expand it’s size , install commercial appliances, new counters and cabinetry, and upgrade the auditorium’s electrical to support as many crockpots of chili we need.

The project will commence immediately after New Years, and will last 60 days.
