Obituary

Barbara Ann Laux was born March 1, 1952, to Raymond and Marcella Laux in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from community college and went to work for RBC Investments, where she stayed for 44 years, retiring in 2014. After retiring, Barb moved to Santa Teresa, New Mexico to be closer to family. Barb was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she volunteered with the Day School Children, and joined the Altar Guild, and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Barb was also an active member of the Laureate Gamma Zeta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. Barb loved to travel, especially taking cruises with family and friends, and joining in family gatherings. She went to be with her Lord on June 3, 2021, after a long battle with diabetes-related illnesses. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, David, Gloria, and Raymond, Jr. Barb is survived by numerous cousins and friends in Minnesota, New Mexico and Texas.
