Unity and Diversity on Display at Easter Music Festival

What a joy to join together as God’s people, saved by grace, united in Christ and also SO diverse. On April 27th the LCMS churches of El Paso and Juarez joined together to share the music of Easter that had been prepared by the musicians of each church. Present were the Ascension and Zion choirs, the Zion Handbell Choir, the Mariachi group from San Pablo, the praise bands from Crosspoint and Cristo Luz del Mundo, a small vocal ensemble from Grace, and the organist from Zion. Present by video was a choir from Cristo Rey Lutheran Church in Juarez, Mexico. Pastors from the different churches led all present in prayer and recitation of psalms in English and Spanish. It was wonderful to experience the wide variety of music and style present among our LCMS church of our cities.
