Please welcome our new Zion Day School Director, Sandy Alvarado! Sandy has been working with children for 29 years. She received her Associates degree in Early Childhood Development in 2012 and plans to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Sandy is a mother to two sons, ages 32 and 26, and grandmother to five grandchildren. Two of her grandchildren attended Zion Day School!
The staff, which include Lupe Macias, Sonia Lopez, Becky Oakes and Beverly Vasquez, say that they have all been friends for years and “we work well together.” They are also confident that God will continue to bless them and that His work will continue through the day school. Sandy taught at Zion Day School for three years before working as Assistant Director this year. “I love my job, the children and the people here,” said Sandy. She has made Zion Day School her home and will work her best to keep, “our tradition going.”
The Zion congregation welcomes you and wishes you much success Sandy!
