Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study

Join us at 9:15 am in the Zion Auditorium or using the online meeting platform “Zoom.” Enter the building through the playground gate and the doors at the top of the ramp. For Zoom, you will need us to email or text you the link to the group, so sign up here and we’ll get you in.

Topic: Christian Witness

Led by Pastor Stephen Heimer beginning on January 7th, we will study the Bible’s description and prescription of Christian Witness, bringing Good News to the lost. We’ll examine biblical answers to the questions: What is witnessing? Why do we witness? What does God reveal we can expect to experience as we share the faith and what can we expect from the Lord in it all. Supplementing our study with the “Every One His Witness” program we’ll dig in to practical “how-to’s” of witnessing.

Tuesday 7:30pm, Men’s Bible Study

Our Men’s Bible study group is led by Jim Smith and reads through different books of the Bible selected by participants. Bring your Bible and be ready to be informed and strengthened by God’s Word and build some new friendships with other Christian men of Zion.

Youth Sunday Bible Study: “Youth Impact”

Every Sunday at 9:15am before the worship service youth ages 11+ get together with Pastor Stephen for a Bible Study and to work together on “Impact Projects” such as creating evangelism graphics for social media, preparing music, or planning events that share God’s love in the world. Older youth 15+ are invited to also take part in the YouthLead leadership training offered throughout the year.

On Sunday mornings, enter the building through the courtyard gate and auditorium door located at the top of the ramp. Classes for younger children and for adults take place during this 9:15 education hour.

Youth Confirmation Classes

Schedule: Wednesdays 5:45
Location: Zion Auditorium and Online via Zoom
Age group: 11-17
Cost for Books: $25 (assistance available)

New students are welcome! Confirmation classes for youth ages 11 and older are held weekly. Classes are in-person with an online option for attending using Zoom when needed. Youth learn the foundations of the Christian faith by studying and memorizing scripture and learning how to navigate the Bible. Study and memorization of key teachings of scripture, as laid out in Luther’s Small Catechism, provides a strong foundation for each youth’s life-long growth in faith and Christian life.
