Zion members and friends have instilled a strong tradition of quality, depth, beauty, and variety in its musical contributions to worship. We are most happy to receive new musicians into any of the following groups throughout the year. You are invited!
After-School Music Classes
Under the teaching of Handbell Choir Director, Jill Weyer, children learn to read and write music, sing and perform instruments, beginning with choir chimes and the recorder.
Classes: September through May
Wednesdays, 4:30 – 5:30pm
Ages: Children ages 8 and up
Participation fee: $78 per semester (12 classes each semester)

Under the direction of David Garcia, this group of men and women provides special music at church services during the traditional school year, plus a Christmas Cantata, Easter Music Festival, and Joint Reformation Service each year. Rehearsals are held Saturday mornings from 9:30-11:00am. The choir also has an abbreviated rehearsal promptly after worship on Sundays for those who cannot attend Saturday rehearsal.
Directed by Jill Weyer, the unique sounds of ringing bells accompanies worship and provides special music throughout the traditional school year, including the Christmas Cantata, Easter Music Festival, and Joint Reformation Service in El Paso. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays at 5:30-7:00pm. Contact us for current rehearsal dates and plans.
