At Zion, several opportunities can be found to learn what the Bible has to say about life, love, eternity, and God’s plan for you. There are many rich studies for your growth. Remember St. Paul’s admonition, “put on the full armor of God… the helmet of salvation, the ‘body armor’ of righteousness, the belt of truth…” Zion has a variety of studies to help fit the armor, learn about Jesus, and grow up into the faith. This is a great time to consider trying out a new Bible study group!

New members are always welcome to any of our Bible Study groups.

If you have a question about any of these studies or an interest in beginning another, please talk to either of the pastors.

Children’s Sunday School: Held weekly on Sundays at 9:15 AM, this is a special time just for kids to learn about Jesus and His love in our lives. Easter Sunday, March 27, there will be a special Children’s Activity in place of our regular Sunday School education hour.

Youth Bible Study – This group provides a chance for youth to form and strengthen friendships with other Christian teenagers as they read the Bible and discuss its answers to life’s questions.  The group gathers downstairs near the backdoor (an donut/coffee table) at 9:15am and moves to the youth room located in the church office (next to the playground).  Contact Jim Smith for information.

Confirmation Classes Provide core Biblical instruction in preparation for confirmation and reception of the Lord’s Supper to youth aged 11 and up.   Classes, taught by Pastor Heimer and Sharon Amastae, are held at Zion at 9:15 AM every Sunday, upstairs in the library.  If you would like to enroll and come to our next classes, please contact the church office, 566.4667, to get started.
